Hi, I’m Faith.

I love the plain Tuesdays because that is where I live most of my life.

I can remember the important parts of my childhood home. I cannot remember what the kitchen counter looked like, what sat beside my bed, or the favorite T-shirt I wore five years ago.

Those details are not profound. They are simply the evidence of who I was becoming. Plain Tuesday is where I make small tools for noticing that evidence while it is still here.

Ordinary life can be affectionate, funny, inconvenient, irritating, and beautiful in the same hour. The work should tell the truth about all of it.
